Pete Thomson, host of The Consumer Team, commented on the West Nile special broadcast.  “Patrick Prather is recognized as one of the most knowledgeable authorities on mosquito control and West Nile Virus.   His company consults municipalities regarding mosquito control and West Nile.  The fact that Patrick is an entomologist gives him an ability to offer an educated and well researched perspective on insects and West Nile Virus.  His input will be very valuable on this Saturday’s Consumer Team.”

According to health officials, West Nile Virus is a potentially serious virus that effects the central nervous system.  Symptoms include headache, nausea, vomiting, body aches, swollen lymph nodes and skin rash.
