Saturday, July 21 at 2PM Central, The Consumer Team talk radio program will feature special segments on America’s best restaurants, web site design rip-offs and the impact of credit card swipe fees on consumers.

America’s Best Restaurants Revealed:   Special guest Tod Marks of Consumer Reports Magazine will discuss the results of The Consumer Magazine restaurant survey.  According to Consumer Team host Pete Thomson, listeners will find the restaurant segment very useful.  Thomson stated, “This survey is by far the most complete research project ever undertaken for chain restaurants.  We’ll be talking about the best restaurants in many different categories from IHOP to Capital Grille.   Tod also will share tips regarding how to find the best deals on even the most expensive restaurants.”

Web Site Design Rip-Offs:  The Consumer Team will continue to expose rip-offs in web site design and search engine marketing.   Tom Burnett of DFW Web Design will reveal how small businesses are regularly overcharged for web site design and search engine marketing programs known as SEO and SEM.

Credit Card Swipe Fees:   With the recent $6 billion settlement reached between credit card companies and retailers, there is speculation that consumers may be on the losing end of new swipe fees from retailers who previously were not able to pass along these costs.   The Consumer Team will offer analysis of both the short-term and long-term implications of swipe fees for the consumer.

The Consumer Team is heard Saturdays, 2-4PM Central on 570 KLIF Radio in Dallas.   To listen live, go to http://www.myconsumerteam.com

The Consumer Team is produced by McQ Media, Dallas, Texas.
