Worth will be a featured guest on the program, which will be broadcast Saturday, September 1, 3-5PM (Central) on 1080 KRLD Radio.

Thomson added that this Saturday’s West Nile special will address a number of recent questions that area citizens have been asking.  Thomson stated, “Two questions are coming into our program consistently.  First, people want to know how much longer West Nile will remain a threat for this year.  Secondly, people are already asking about how severe the West Nile outbreak will be next year.  We will be addressing both of those questions to Patrick Prather on Saturday’s Consumer Team radio program.”

West Nile Virus cases in North Texas have reached unprecedented levels in 2012.  Dallas County alone has reported 322 human cases including 13 deaths.
